The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced two of the state tournament draws in boys soccer will not be conducted Sunday, Oct. 11.
The OHSAA’s announcement on Saturday stated boys Division I and II will be delayed until a yet to be determined date.
Columbus St. Charles won an injunction against the OHSAA on Tuesday to be placed into D-I for boys soccer after the organization placed them into D-II at the start of the year. St. Charles missed the deadline to apply to move up to D-I before the season began, according to a report by the Columbus Dispatch.
The OHSAA plans to file an emergency appeal in district court. Boys tournament draws for those two divisions will not take place until the appeal is settled.
All of the other eight draws — boys D-III, IV and V, and all five girls divisions — will all continue as scheduled Sunday.
The first round of tournament games are scheduled to begin on Oct. 19.
Girls volleyball draws in all seven divisions will also take place Sunday.
