Most Valuable Player-level Jayson Tatum is back in the Boston Celtics 107-103 home win over the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks. Or at least that is the point of view of the host of the "You Got Boston" podcast, Noa Dalzell, who shared her thoughts on what she saw from the St. Louis native after a rough start in the Celtics Opening Night loss to the Detroit Pistons had some fans of the team worried.
After an inefficient outing vs. the Pistons saw him have an uncharacteristically inefficient scoring night, Tatum bounced back with 36 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals to help get the Celtics in the win column for the first time in the 2026-27 NBA regular season. Is this MVP-level play something we ought to be expecting from the Duke alum over the course of this season?
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what she had to say about Taco Jay's big bounce-back game.
