Actor Lee Ki-taek held his first fan meeting in Japan since his debut, sharing a special day with fans there.
His agency, Keyeast, said Lee successfully wrapped up "LEE KI TAEK JAPAN Meet&Greet" at Nikkei Hall in Tokyo on the 27th. The event, hosted by KBS JAPAN, marked Lee's first in-person meeting with Japanese fans since his debut and was held in two sessions. Local fans had shown strong interest ahead of the event, and Lee engaged with them through a varied program.
Taking the stage amid cheers, Lee greeted fans with a bright smile. He introduced himself by sharing his profile, then talked about behind-the-scenes moments from the drama "An Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women," which ended its run this year, and reenacted scenes that had drawn attention.

Interactive segments with fans followed. A Q&A session, a would-you-rather game and a drawing-guessing game lifted the mood in the hall, and Lee shared lighthearted moments with fans using games from the KBS variety show "2 Days & 1 Night." In a segment called "Let Me Be Your Genie," he acted out dates that fans had wished for, drawing laughter from the audience.
Lee also prepared gifts for fans. He handed out signed balls and bracelets he had made himself, and greeted fans up close one by one through a "high-touch" greeting line, where fans briefly high-five and meet the actor one at a time. Applause and cheers throughout the show underscored the energy of his first fan meeting in Japan.
After the event, Lee said, "Just as this time today made me really happy, I hope it stays a warm and happy memory for the fans as well." He added, "I will not take the love fans give me for granted, and I will do my best to show a better side of myself as an actor so that I am not ashamed of that affection," saying, "Whether on stage or through my work, I want to greet them having grown a little more each time."
Lee has meanwhile confirmed his casting in his next project, the film "Nam Eun-jung," and is in the middle of filming.
