A total of €2.3 million has been allocated to improve the energy efficiency of four public buildings in Akrini, a community in the Kozani region of northern Greece, following the project’s inclusion in the Special Just Transition Development Program.
The funding approval was granted by Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis.
The project covers three buildings in Akrini’s school complex: the kindergarten, the elementary school and a multipurpose hall. A fourth municipal building, used for various activities, is also included.
The planned interventions aim to improve the buildings’ energy performance and reduce their energy consumption.
