Xiaomi has launched the Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition gaming monitor in China. The new 27-inch monitor features a 2K display, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time, making it an option for gamers looking for smooth visuals and responsive gameplay.
Xiaomi Launches Redmi G27Q 2026 Gaming Monitor With 240Hz Refresh Rate
The new model shares most of its specifications with the standard Redmi G27Q 2026 but offers a lower refresh rate at a more affordable price. While the original version supports a 320Hz refresh rate, the Standard Edition comes with a 240Hz panel.
Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition Specifications
The monitor features a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Its 240Hz refresh rate is designed to deliver smoother motion during fast-paced games, while the 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time helps reduce motion blur.
The display offers a peak brightness of 500 nits and viewing angles of up to 178 degrees. It also covers 100% of the sRGB color space and 95% of DCI-P3, with support for 8-bit color depth.
Xiaomi has added AMD FreeSync Premium support to the new model. This technology helps synchronize the monitor’s refresh rate with a compatible graphics card to reduce screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.
Gaming Features and Eye Protection
The Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition includes several features designed to improve the gaming experience. These include a dynamic crosshair with five modes and adjustable colors, a night vision mode, and Darkfield Enhancement Pro, which brightens darker areas to help players spot details more easily.
For eye comfort, Xiaomi has included its Green Mountain Eye Protection technology alongside TÜV Rheinland blue light certification. These features aim to make the display more comfortable to use during extended gaming sessions.
Connectivity and Adjustable Design
The monitor offers two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a headphone jack for connecting gaming PCs, consoles, and other devices.
It also supports height, pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments, allowing users to position the screen according to their preferences. A VESA mount provides the option to install the monitor on a compatible wall mount or monitor arm.
Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition Price and Availability
Xiaomi has priced the Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition at CNY 999, which is approximately $149. The original Redmi G27Q 2026 costs CNY 1,299, or around $189.
The Standard Edition will be available to purchase in China through JD.com starting October 21, 2026. Xiaomi has not yet announced plans for a global launch.
With its 2K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and gaming-focused features, the Redmi G27Q 2026 Standard Edition offers a combination of high refresh rates and useful display features at a relatively affordable price. However, buyers outside China will have to wait for further details about its international availability.
