UN verifies 1,076 Palestinian deaths in Gaza since ceasefire, warns of possible war crimes

The United Nations Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory has verified the deaths of 1,076 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip between October 2025 and the end of July 2026, warning that continued Israeli attacks during the ceasefire period raise serious concerns about possible war crimes. In a report released on Monday, the office said Palestinian medical sources had recorded more than 1,400 deaths since the ceasefire was announced on 10th October 2025.
