A young woman has died in hospital days after she and her older sister were in a serious e-scooter crash in Queensland.
The two women, aged 18 and 20, were left critically injured after the e-scooter they were riding crashed on Lee St in Caboolture just before 6pm on Monday.
Both women were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Police have now revealed the younger woman died as a result of her injuries on Wednesday morning.
The other woman remains in a critical condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, or anybody with dashcam footage, to come forward.
