Lions Announce Historic NFL Milestone for QB Jared Goff

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is off to an impressive start in his 2026 NFL campaign, completing 67% of his pass attempts for 1,485 yards, 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

With three passing touchdowns in Sunday's Week 5 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Goff extended his streak of games with at least one passing score to 28.

Goff's 28-game run is the longest active streak in the NFL, and the longest streak in Lions franchise history.

Additionally, Goff is just the second player in NFL history to throw at least 12 touchdowns with no interceptions through the first five games of a season.

In addition to his three passing touchdowns against the Cardinals, Goff also converted on a one-yard rushing score.

“Goff is just Goff,” head coach Dan Campbell said. “He's as good as they come.”

Goff and the Lions have a 3-2 record heading into this week's bye. They'll return to the field for a Week 7 matchup against the division-rival Green Bay Packers.
