Juventus are interested in signing Kim Min-jae and reuniting him with Luciano Spalletti following their successful time together at Napoli. The Bianconeri believe the Bayern Munich defender could strengthen their squad, particularly if the German club becomes willing to consider offers for his signature.
Min-jae continues to receive playing time under Vincent Kompany in Bavaria, but his involvement does not rule out a potential departure if an attractive offer arrives. Juventus are monitoring the situation as they look for opportunities to improve their defensive options.
Juventus hope to reunite Min-jae with Spalletti
Juventus view Min-jae as a strong candidate to strengthen their team, with his previous relationship with Spalletti potentially giving them an advantage. The defender already understands the manager’s expectations, having worked with him during their successful spell at Napoli.
Spalletti would reportedly welcome the reunion as he looks to bring Juventus closer to the level he achieved with Napoli. Min-jae could offer qualities familiar to the manager and help him implement his preferred approach with the Bianconeri.
However, Juventus must first establish whether Bayern are prepared to negotiate a deal. Although the defender is reportedly available if the right offer emerges, his regular involvement under Kompany means a transfer cannot be taken for granted.

AC Milan join the race for the defender
According to Tuttojuve, AC Milan are also interested in signing Min-jae, potentially setting up competition between the two Italian clubs. Both sides could pursue the defender if Bayern become open to letting him leave.
Juventus may hope that his previous connection with Spalletti will help persuade him to move to Turin. Having already worked together, the pair would have an established understanding that could make the transition easier.
Nevertheless, that relationship does not guarantee Min-jae will choose Juventus. The defender will need to consider his own ambitions, his role at Bayern and the opportunities available to him elsewhere.
The Bianconeri must therefore be ready to compete for his signature and present a convincing proposal if they want to bring him back to Italy. Milan’s reported interest could make that task more difficult, particularly if both clubs decide to pursue a deal.
For now, Juventus will continue to monitor the situation as they consider their options. A reunion with Spalletti remains a possibility, but much will depend on Bayern’s willingness to sell and Min Jae’s decision about his future.
