Redington Gulf has signed a partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and cloud solutions across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and other high-growth markets.
Under the agreement, Redington Gulf will distribute AWS solutions and work with members of the AWS Partner Network to help businesses identify, deploy and scale cloud and AI technologies. The partnership is intended to simplify technology adoption and help organisations translate their investments into business outcomes.
The agreement follows Redington Gulf’s achievement of the AWS AI Services Competency and AWS Digital Sovereignty Services Competency, recognising its capabilities in supporting AI transformation and cloud sovereignty requirements.
Redington Gulf now holds six AWS Competencies, including those covering migration and modernisation, SAP consulting, small and medium-sized businesses, and security consulting.
Sayantan Dev, Chief Executive Officer of Redington’s Software Solutions Group, said the agreement would expand opportunities for partners to develop their AI capabilities and access AWS solutions.
“Our relationship with AWS has continued to evolve alongside changing customer priorities, and this SCA marks the next phase of that journey. It opens new opportunities in areas such as agentic AI, with a strong focus on high-growth markets such as Saudi Arabia. It also enables us to help our partners in the META region scale faster, build stronger capabilities, and expand access to solutions through AWS Marketplace. This is orchestration in action: connecting technology, expertise and market access to create greater choice for customers and drive scalable business outcomes.”
Afaf Chekkar, Director of EMEA Strategic Partners at AWS, said the collaboration would support cloud and AI adoption across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
“This is a collaboration designed to accelerate cloud and AI adoption across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Redington Gulf’s regional expertise can be a key enabler of rapid innovation, providing customers with new routes to adopting solutions that have a material impact in growing business value.”
Ultimately, the two companies plan to work together to expand access to AWS services, help partners develop new technology solutions and respond to changing business needs across the region.
