The winning team took control of the match from the start, scoring two goals in the first period.
Although Buffalo’s other Swedish player, Noah Östlund, set up Jason Zucker for the team’s first - and only - goal, it wasn’t enough as Philadelphia extended its lead.
Rasmus Dahlin did not register any points.
Dahlin suffered an upper-body injury during a game against Florida last Monday and was forced to leave the game.
