The Redmi G25 2027 gaming monitor has been unveiled in China, and at its core, it's an affordable gaming monitor with a 300Hz refresh rate. Its Fast IPS panel also has AMD FreeSync support and DisplayHDR 400 certification. The retail price is CNY 799, around $120.
Xiaomi has introduced a new affordable gaming monitor in China, the Redmi G25 2027. A big highlight is the 300Hz refresh rate, which isn't common in the price segment the unit falls into.
Its 300Hz refresh rate is backed by a 1ms GtG response rate, and such a combination makes it a good pick for those looking for an affordable gaming monitor for competitive games. Of course, the screen size is on the smaller end.
Specifically, the Redmi G25 2027 comes with a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel, and the display has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The FHD resolution might also not make this monitor appealing to some gamers, but then again, QHD resolution wouldn't have made much sense for a screen of this size.
Moreover, the FHD resolution will make it easier to take full advantage of the 300Hz refresh rate. Another notable highlight is support for AMD FreeSync Premium, which will ensure smoother and tear-free visuals.
The company further highlights the wide color coverage of the panel. To be precise, Xiaomi claims that the screen of the Redmi G25 2027 offers 93% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage, meaning that it should be decent enough for professional workloads and entertainment.
There's DisplayHDR 400 certification, and with hardware-level blue light reduction tech, the monitor should deliver a comfortable viewing experience even during prolonged sessions. Other highlights include a sleek overall design, slim bezels, an adjustable stand, and two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports (6.6-feet Silkland DP1.4 cable curr. $7.99 on Amazon).
In China, the new Redmi G25 2027 300Hz has a retail price of CNY 799, about $120. Xiaomi is expected to release this affordable monitor outside the Chinese market later in 2026.
