Personnel from the Criminal Investigaton Department are looking for a young man and woman who are suspected of stealing a luxury evening gown worth more than 850 dinars from a boutique in a mall in the Al-Aqila area.
According to Al-Anba, the boutique manager reported the theft at a police station and handed investigators surveillance footage showing the pair inside the shop shortly before the dress was discovered missing. A security source said the footage showed the two browsing the boutique and examining dresses for around 30 minutes. The woman was allegedly seen placing the yellow gown in her bag, while her companion appeared to approach the store’s security cameras.
The theft came to light when an employee noticed that the gown was missing. Staff subsequently reviewed the recordings, which investigators are using to establish the circumstances of the incident and identify the suspects. A theft case has been registered, and detectives are working to identify and apprehend the pair. Their identities and nationalities have not been confirmed in the report.
