Here at Good Housekeeping, we love a food mash-up. Recent favourites include Linzi’s garlic bread pasta, while Frankie’s Guinness cake meets flan is living rent-free in my mind.
But ASK Italian might just have trumped both (don’t tell our recipe team!). The restaurant chain has launched a limited-edition dish you’ll definitely want to try: Lasagne Garlic Bread.

Now, garlic bread and lasagne are arguably two of the best things on any Italian menu. But together they combine into one gloriously gooey dish.
The Lasagne Garlic Bread has a golden, stone-baked garlic bread crust filled with rich beef and red wine ragù, creamy béchamel and melted mozzarella. The dough is made with 100% Wildfarmed flour – the same people behind my favourite crumpets – and it’s designed for pulling apart and sharing. Though I’d order it as my main course, with no intention of sharing.
It’s the ultimate comfort food mash-up: hearty, saucy layers of lasagne, inside crisp, buttery garlic bread. If this is cosy season, we’re here for it.
There is a catch however: the limited-edition dish is only available at ASK Italian until 22 October 2026. So don’t leave it too late if this is already on your must-eat list. You can find your nearest restaurant and book a table on the ASK Italian website.
The garlic bread is part of ASK Italian’s new autumn menu, inspired by the fiery flavours of Calabria in southern Italy. The wider line-up includes Mozzarella Fritti Sticks finished with hot honey, Crispy Calabrian Cauliflower Bites and new pizzas with a chilli kick. But this lasagne-stuffed bread is surely the headline act.
If you're keen to get in on the action – it’s here for a good time, not a long time.
