Bybit has announced that its Dubai entity, Bybit Fintech FZE, has successfully secured a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). This license will enable Bybit to offer spot trading services, marking a significant step for the exchange in the UAE market. This development could enhance investor confidence in Bybit as a compliant trading platform in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, as noted in a tweet by @WuBlockchain.
What Went Down
The acquisition of the VASP license marks a pivotal moment for Bybit and aligns with the company’s strategic focus on expanding its operations in the Middle East.
