Musk Claims Ukraine Breached Starlink Terms, Kyiv Rebuts

SpaceX founder Elon Musk claimed that the Ukrainian military violated Starlink terms of service by deploying commercial terminals for offensive drone strikes, asserting that a “loophole” was closed last week while reiterating that Starlink prevents frontline collapse. Ukrainian defense figures rejected the allegation: volunteer and former defense adviser Serhii Sternenko stated that February whitelists permit mobile operations solely via Starshield, while presidential technology adviser Serhii Beskrestnov noted that existing 70–90 km/h speed limits and geofencing inside Russia physically prevent commercial Starlink from guiding deep strikes.
