Koscom will showcase a shared platform for tokenized securities and artificial intelligence services based on financial data at Korea Fintech Week 2026, to be held from the 25th to the 27th of next month.
The company said on the 13th that the event will focus on its shared platform, which supports brokerages in issuing tokenized securities, managing accounts and linking related systems. The infrastructure connects existing ledgers with blockchain-based distributed ledgers, reducing the burden on brokerages to build their own systems while helping them identify products and develop services.
Koscom has signed memorandums of understanding with 13 brokerages for cooperation in the tokenized securities business. It has also completed a joint buildout of issuance infrastructure with LG CNS and a proof-of-concept test at the Korea Securities Depository's testbed for aggregate volume management.
In the AI field, the company will present analysis cases drawing on price and trading data for stocks, derivatives and bonds, along with supply-and-demand and alternative data. It will also unveil K-EFS, a Korean stock forecasting score service launched with LG AI Research.
Koscom will provide support for financial cloud usage and consultations on its D-Testbed program for fintech companies. The financial cloud support program offers usage vouchers to 60 companies a year. The D-Testbed provides 30 companies a year with data, analytics and simulation environments to help validate their ideas.
"Based on our experience operating capital market IT systems and our shared infrastructure, we will support financial companies as they prepare their tokenized securities businesses, and we will also back the use of AI with financial data and service development by fintech firms," Koscom President Yoon Chang-hyun said.
Korea Fintech Week is a global fintech expo organized by the Financial Services Commission. This year's event will be held at the aT Center in Seoul's Yangjae district under the theme "Beyond Finance, Into the Future."
