PlannerPal is already used by financial advice firms covering £150bn in client assets, and this launch extends the business into the mortgage market to give advisers more capacity, assurance that advice is robust and well evidenced, consistency across every adviser and enhanced intelligence from client conversations.
Mortgage advisers can launch PlannerPal from inside ADVICE, capture client meetings in person or virtually and turn them into notes, letters and reports in their firm's own templates. They can then upload documents back to ADVICE at adviser, client or enquiry level.
Charles Cameron & Associates, a leading London-based independent mortgage broker with expertise in the employee benefit sector, is a business within the Amber River group and one of the first mortgage firms to adopt PlannerPal with its 130 advisers.
Graham Masterton, Managing Director at Charles Cameron & Associates, said: "After three weeks, over 90% of our advisers were actively using it, not just telling us they like it, but genuinely engaging with it. A key benefit is that it works around how our advisers naturally advise, rather than making them sound scripted. This means we can capture consistent advice documentation across all our advisers, so they are free to focus on providing quality advice to clients.”
Charles Cameron started with the aim to improve advice quality. The firm ruled out open AI tools and waited for a closed environment it could configure itself. As PlannerPal works like their own notebook and nothing reaches the CRM until the adviser has reviewed it, the adviser stays in control. The firm uses PlannerPal with the aim to make sure every client gets a robust, consistent advice conversation, with meeting notes and documentation following automatically.
Mark Whitcroft, CEO and Co-Founder of PlannerPal, said: “Mortgage advice depends on the quality of the conversation. Bringing PlannerPal into ADVICE means advisers can use it where they already work, so every client gets a consistent, well-documented conversation and advisers get their time back for clients.”
Nathan Reilly, Chief Customer Officer at Twenty7tec, said: “The mortgage market is under growing pressure to prove consistency and suitability at scale. Working with PlannerPal gives ADVICE users AI that supports the advice conversation itself, not just the paperwork after it.”
Alongside the ADVICE integration, PlannerPal offers pre-meeting prep packs and meeting observation, with customisable questions and scoring that give advisers context before the meeting, plus feedback for training and development. PlannerPal and Twenty7tec plan to deepen the integration further, working with partner firms to shape what comes next.
