By Zoila Palma: Social media influencer Benjamin Garcia has issued a statement following the incident that occurred over the weekend.
Garcia says that this incident has given him time “to reflect, not only on the events themselves, but also on the people who matter most to me, the responsibilities I carry, and the importance of the trust others have placed in me.
I recognize the seriousness of any incident involving a firearm and understand the concern and public discussion that the circumstances have generated.”
Ben says that beyond the headlines, he is a son, a family man, a friend, a colleague, and someone who has dedicated all of his life to building something meaningful through hard work and perseverance.
“Like anyone else, I have people who love me, believe in me, and depend on me. Knowing the worry and disappointment that the past few days have brought to some of those closest to me has weighed heavily on my heart.
To my family, friends, colleagues and clients, I sincerely regret the concern, uncertainty, and disappointment that this situation has caused,” he said.
Ben added that he has worked hard to build meaningful relationships, create opportunities, contribute to his community, and earn the confidence of those around him.
He further reassured his clients of his commitment to honoring his obligations, delivering the quality of work they expect, and maintaining the professional relationships they have built together.
Ben thanked everyone who reached out and offered words of encouragement and said that this incident served as a reminder of what really matters, his faith and family.
“I cannot change the attention or circumstances of the past few days, but I can determine how I carry myself moving forward.
With faith in God, humility in my heart, and a renewed appreciation for the people and responsibilities in my life, I intend to move forward with dignity and purpose,” he expressed.
