Inde Navarrette brought couture style in Schiaparelli to the Academy Museum Gala on Saturday night at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
The “Obsession” breakout star turned to creative director Daniel Roseberry’s fall 2026 couture collection for the evening, wearing a strapless dress with a tiered bubble skirt and black polka dots cascading all over the neutral fabric of the midi look.
While the bodice of the dress was fitted with a sweetheart neckline, the drop waist transitioned the dress into that slightly tiered bubble. Navarrette added a pair of pointed toe shoes to complement the dress’ overall color scheme.
For accessories, the actress went for sparkle, sporting a diamond necklace and a set of statement drop earrings. Navarrette’s glam was full Old Hollywood, with a pulled back hair style and low chignon as well as makeup including such highlights as bold brows, lined eyes and a neutral lip. The actress collaborates with stylist Enrique Melendez.
Schiaparelli’s fall 2026 couture collection debuted during Paris Couture Week in July 2026. Roseberry’s collection was “intent on proving that anything computer intelligence can do, he can do better. A plunge into the abyss, it featured runway experiments that included a latex jacket with inflatable tentacles, jelly-like molded silicone bustiers and gowns that pulsed with light,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“Rubbery dresses quivered and clung from every curve. There was a faint menace to even the prettiest looks, like the putty pink pearl-embroidered prom dress worn by Amelia Gray,” Diderich wrote.
The sixth annual Academy Museum Gala was held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday night. Filmmaker and composer John Carpenter was honored with the Luminary Award his contributions to filmmaking, while Charlize Theron was also honored with the Icon Award and Colman Domingo was named the recipient of the Vantage Award.
While there was plenty of star power at the event, a performance from Grammy Award-winner Taylor Swift added a touch of pop star edge to the night. Presented in partnership with Rolex, the 2026 Academy Museum Gala co-chairs included Robert Rodriguez, Tom Ford, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
