Two Tripura schools earn recognition in Education World Rankings

Tripura has once again brought laurels to the Northeast with two of its prominent schools earning recognition in the latest India School Rankings by EducationWorld, highlighting the state’s growing reputation for quality education.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, Agartala, has secured a place among the Top 20 Schools in India, according to the assessment and accreditation conducted by EducationWorld.

The achievement marks the school’s third consecutive year among the country’s top-ranked schools. The institution had secured the 22nd and 23rd positions in the previous two years before moving up to 20th position this year.

Reacting to the achievement, Maharashtra Governor and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Jishnu Dev Varma expressed his happiness and pride, congratulating the Secretary Maharaj, Swamijis of the Ramakrishna Mission, teachers, staff, students and alumni for the achievement.

He also highlighted the institution’s unique distinction as the only school in the entire Northeast region recognised by UNESCO as an ASPnet UNESCO Associated School, describing the achievement as a matter of pride for Tripura and the entire Northeast.

Meanwhile, Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir has also earned recognition in the EducationWorld India School Rankings, securing 4th position in Tripura.

In a social media post, the school described the recognition as “a moment of pride and gratitude,” attributing the achievement to the collective dedication of its teachers, the hard work of students, the trust of parents and the continued support of the Bhavan’s family.

The school authority expressed gratitude to everyone associated with its journey and reiterated its commitment to pursuing academic excellence while simultaneously nurturing students into responsible and compassionate human beings.

Tanni Akhter received the award on behalf of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir at a ceremony held in New Delhi.

The recognition of both institutions reflected the contribution of Tripura’s educational institutions towards academic excellence and holistic development, bringing national attention to the state’s schools and their achievements.
