The Delhi Police has denied permission for the Cockroach Janta Party's proposed Tiranga March at Central Park in Connaught Place, serving an official notice to Abhijeet Dipke under Section 29 of the Delhi Police Act. The notice, served at the residence of Anish Gawande, directs Dipke to maintain public order and regulate processions and assemblies. Authorities highlighted that Section 163 restrictions are in force across the area and cautioned that attempting to march toward Connaught Place could trigger strict punitive legal action and potential detention. The notice also cited traffic disruptions, a lack of prior permission, and High Court directives concerning trader safety. While police indicated that a small delegation of eleven individuals could unfurl the national flag, the organisation rejected the condition, urging widespread public participation. Dipke acknowledged receiving the document, questioning the prohibition on unfurling the national flag while reiterating that no unlawful agitation was planned.

The police spent around forty minutes at the residence ahead of a scheduled protest march at Connaught Place. Visuals showed Dipke receiving and signing the notice after writing on the document. Ground reporters confirmed that authorities warned Dipke against violating the restrictions, noting that strict legal action would follow any breach of public order. Dipke earlier maintained that there was no plan to stage an unauthorized protest and that the group intended only to unfurl the national flag during the Tiranga Yatra.
