High intensity from the first half
The first "noteworthy" moment came after a mistake by Rossi.
But Flamengo had the better of the first half.
Pedro, for example, had two big chances against Ronaldo.
There were 16 shots in total — ten from Leonardo Jardim's side.
Bahia let their opponents have the ball but had no success on the counterattack.
Fla turn on the clinical finishing
Carrascal had already been threatening to break through the opposition's defence.
And it was he who won the penalty that led to Jorginho's goal (62').
Ceni responded with a triple substitution.
But the Rio side were clinical once again after Samuel Lino teed up Plata (73').
Rested with the Libertadores in mind, Paquetá came off the bench to score a fine goal.
He beat Juba and Caio Alexandre before celebrating (78').
Bahia could not play their own game, allowed Flamengo to dictate proceedings and were ultimately swept aside in the second half.
