And it’s set to open in the next couple of months
Dubai’s getting a brand new attraction, and it’s sure to be a splash hit: a brand new waterpark is set to open soon at Dubai Parks & Resorts.
Already home to Motiongate, Riverland, Legoland, Legoland Waterpark and Real Madrid World, the new waterpark was announced by the CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment (DHE), Fernando Eiroa.
Speaking during the Rise summit in Dubai on Wednesday, Eiroa confirmed that it would open in the next couple of months, describing the new Dubai water park as an attraction “specifically for the summer,” per Khaleej Times.
Details on the what rides and slides might await thrill-seekers remain under wraps for now, but we can’t wait to try them out.
A new addition at Dubai Parks and Resorts
Dubai Parks and Resorts reopened on October 7 after closing in March, during which time the Dubai Holding Entertainment CEO explained that they’d used the extended break to “add restaurants, refurbish some attractions, and do maintenance,” per Khaleej Times.
At Riverland, that has meant adding 14 new attractions for visitors to discover, including bowling, go-karts and car simulators.
Tickets for the theme parks start from Dhs295 per person, while entrance to Riverland is Dhs25.
