Tuttosport reports that a scout of the Italy national team will watch Nicolò Tresoldi in action tonight as his Club Brugge side visit Inter in the Champions League.
Italy continue to keep a close eye on 22-year-old striker Tresoldi.
According to Tuttosport, a scout sent by Azzurri boss Roberto Mancini will be in the stands at the Stadio Meazza tonight to watch the Club Brugge striker in action against Inter in Champions League Round 2.
Tresoldi was born in Italy, but he moved to Hannover, Germany, with his family as a kid. He represented the German national team at various youth levels and is now the star of the Germany U21 team, with which he’ll play next summer’s U21 Euros.

Tresoldi has already held talks with both football federations and Italy and Germany’s new national team coaches, Roberto Mancini and Jurgen Klopp.
Tresoldi, 22, has scored six goals in ten appearances for Club Brugge this season.
“We talked to him; he said that at this moment he cannot decide because he gave his word to the Under-21 coach that he’d play for Germany at the European Championship in June,” Italy coach Mancini said at the end of September.
“He said that he feels 50 per cent Italian and 50 per cent German. Hopefully by June he’ll feel 51 per cent Italian and 49 per cent German.”

Mancini and the Italian federation have already convinced Alessandro Romano to switch nationalities as the Cagliari midfielder had represented Switzerland at the U21 level, but then made his senior debut with the Azzurri during the latest international break.
