Taylor Swift thought it was “f–ked up” that Jason Kelce called Travis Kelce early in the morning asking to help him work out.
On Wednesday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, the brothers detailed how Swift, 36, got upset when Jason needed the Kansas City Chiefs player’s help with participating in a challenge called “Squatober.”
“I get a call at 7:30 in the morning. In my mind, I’m thinking worst-case scenario,” Travis, 37, explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t. Is everything okay? Maybe after the run Jason’s in the hospital, he blew his knee out or something.'”
But all Jason, 38, needed was for Travis to spot him.
“I was just like, ‘No way!’” Travis recalled, as the brothers laughed.
Travis said he decided to help his brother out — much to Swift’s chagrin.
“I’m walking out of the room, and Taylor’s like, ‘This is f—ed up,'” he said. “And I’m just like, ‘Nah, it’ll be good. It’ll be good!’”
Earlier in the conversation, Jason explained that before flying out to visit the newly married couple, he called Travis and asked how much weight he had in his basement for the daily squat challenge.
“I just told him how many weights I had. And he was like, ‘Oh, okay, cool, I’ll bring some.,'” Travis said, as Jason confirmed he traveled to Kansas City, Missouri, with two 25 lb. weights, as well as “a couple extra plates to throw on the old squat bar.”
“Absolutely hilarious, the most meathead thing I think I’ve ever seen Jason do,” Travis said with a laugh.
After the workout talk, Jason confirmed he and Swift were at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Travis during the Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
“We were all there in Arrowhead this weekend,” the former Philadelphia Eagles player said. “It was a blast.”
During the game, Swift was seen gesturing to a fan directly below her to stop recording her from her VIP suite and watch the action on the field.
A member of her security team subsequently appeared to ask the fan to put away her phone.
Good news for Travis and Taylor, the Chiefs beat the Chargers 22-6.
