KARACHI: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested two swindlers from the industrial area involved in cheating incidents, ARY News reported on Sunday.
The NCCIA sources said that the two conmen, arrested from the Korangi Industrial Area identified as Muzammil and Hamza, were cheating citizens pretending to be the officials of secret agencies.
“They were duping citizens with false claims of influence and links in government departments,” according to the NCCIA.
They were cheating the people, for transfers and postings in government departments with false promises and by building a false sense of trust and credibility within their victims.
They were getting money from people in the name of secret agencies, NCCIA sources said.
A case has been registered against the arrested suspects.
