The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has disowned a social media report linking him to the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Senator Ishaku Abbo.
Wike, who spoke on Friday through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, described the report as fake.
He said he had no relationship with the Labour Party or any of its candidates in Adamawa State.

The fake report had quoted Wike as saying that the people of Adamawa State should make informed and thoughtful decisions at the ballot, and that, in his opinion, Ishaku Abbo was the best fit for the leadership of the state.
But the FCT Minister said he did not at any time endorse Ishaku Abbo or any LP candidate.
He urged the people of Adamawa State to disregard the social media report.
According to him, whoever he is supporting, he will use his own mouth to say it.
