XRP price prediction shows Ripple trading around $1.30 after a difficult week, with CoinGecko data showing a 7.2% decline over seven days. Despite Ripple’s expanding institutional partnerships, weakening ETF demand and broader market uncertainty continue to weigh on the token, leaving traders questioning whether XRP can recover toward $1.40.
On October 15, Ripple Prime announced support for real-world asset (RWA) perpetual swaps in over 100 markets, allowing institutional clients to use Ripple USD (RLUSD) as collateral for round-the-clock trading in various financial sectors.
The previous day, Ripple partnered with DriveWealth for stablecoin settlement and with Meritz Securities to explore custody and tokenization in Korean markets. Meanwhile, Evernorth debuted on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN, highlighting approximately 473 million XRP in treasury holdings.
Despite these developments, XRP spot ETFs saw over $2.47M in outflows on October 16, and the stalled CLARITY Act complicates US crypto regulation. A speculative $1,000 XRP price prediction by EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok for 2030 also circulates, but it doesn’t offer practical trading guidance.
XRP Price Prediction: Can XRP Reclaim $1.40 This Week?
At approximately $1.30, XRP is trading near the bottom of its latest seven-day range of $1.27–$1.42, according to CoinGecko. The token has retreated from about $1.51 on October 5, underscoring the recent correction.
Immediate support sits around $1.27–$1.29, while resistance begins at $1.31–$1.32. A sustained move above that initial hurdle could open the way toward $1.35, followed by a potential retest of $1.40. However, the recent decline means buyers must show stronger momentum before confirming a bullish reversal.
Bull case: XRP holds $1.27–$1.29 and breaks above $1.32, opening a potential move toward $1.35–$1.40.
Base case: Price consolidates between $1.27 and $1.32 as traders await stronger catalysts.
Bear case: A sustained break below $1.27 could expose $1.25 as the next downside reference.
Longer-term targets such as $5 require a considerably stronger market structure. For now, $1.32 is the first hurdle to watch, while $1.40 represents a more ambitious recovery target rather than a confirmed signal.
Maxi Doge Targets Early-Mover Interest as XRP Tests Support
XRP’s institutional progress contrasts with its fragile short-term chart. Even if buyers defend support, a rally toward $1.40 would represent a recovery from recent weakness, not evidence that extreme long-term predictions are becoming more realistic. This distinction helps explain why some traders explore higher-risk, early-stage projects alongside established cryptocurrencies.
Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 meme token built around an exaggerated trading-community identity, combining gym-bro humor with a 1,000x-leverage trading mentality. The current presale price is $0.0002844, with about $4.8M raised, and staking is live at 60% APY.
The project also promotes token-holder trading competitions with leaderboard rewards and a Maxi Fund treasury intended to support liquidity and partnerships.
