Those in a position of power at La Liga giants Barcelona intend to join forces with the club’s fanbase this weekend, to unveil a giant El Clásico Tifo.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
The headline fixture of the Spanish football calendar is of course set to be contested on Sunday, when Barcelona welcome Real Madrid to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown.
The matchup marks a hugely significant one in the early running for the title, with Hansi Flick’s Barca in the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them open a nine-point advantage over their arch rivals.
And as alluded to above, in efforts towards as much, the Camp Nou brass are planning a special stadium display. As per a report from MD, the first and second tiers of the Blaugrana’s beloved ground are expected to be covered by a Clásico mosaic.
‘The club is keeping the message a closely guarded secret, with the collaboration of all the fans’, it is added.
