The WNBA has officially announced its 2026 All-Rookie Team, recognizing six players who made an immediate impact during their first professional season.
The league revealed its selections Wednesday, with Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles, Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd and Seattle Storm guard Flau'jae Johnson highlighting an impressive rookie class.
Joining them are Chicago Sky guard Sydney Taylor, Toronto Tempo guard Kiki Rice and New York Liberty guard Pauline Astier.
While the All-Rookie Team traditionally features five players, this year's group includes six after Rice and Astier finished tied in the voting. The unusual result allows both players to receive recognition following productive debut seasons.
Miles headlines the group after establishing herself as one of the league's most exciting young players. Selected third overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft, Miles quickly became a key contributor for Minnesota, averaging 19.8 points, six assists and 4.7 rebounds per game.

...
Her impressive production helped the Lynx finish with the league's best regular-season record, while she also earned Rookie of the Month honors throughout the season. Miles' ability to score, facilitate and control the pace of games made her one of the most impactful first-year players in the WNBA and even earned her the second most MVP votes in the league.
Fudd also earned recognition despite having her season cut short by injury.
The Wings selected the former UConn standout with the No. 1 overall pick, and she quickly demonstrated the shooting ability that made her one of the most highly regarded prospects in the draft.

...
Fudd averaged 13.1 points while shooting 39.7% from three-point range across 30 appearances. She also averaged 1.7 steals per game before a knee injury ended her season prematurely.
Meanwhile, Johnson put together one of the most impressive all-around rookie campaigns in league history. The former LSU star started all 42 games she played for Seattle, averaging 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
Johnson also became the first rookie in WNBA history to record at least 600 points, 200 rebounds, 100 assists, 50 steals and 28 blocks in a single season.

...
Her production helped establish her as an important part of Seattle's future.
Taylor's selection represents another remarkable storyline from this year's rookie class.
After going undrafted, the Chicago guard earned an opportunity to prove herself and took full advantage.

...
Taylor averaged 13.6 points per game and finished the season with 71 made three-pointers, the most among rookies. She also became the highest-scoring undrafted rookie in WNBA history, demonstrating that talented contributors can emerge from outside the draft.
Rice made history of her own as the first draft selection in Toronto Tempo franchise history.

...
The former UCLA standout averaged 13.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 47.2% from the field. Although an ankle injury limited her availability, Rice established herself as an important piece of Toronto's developing roster.
Astier rounds out the group after delivering an efficient rookie season with New York.
The French guard went undrafted but quickly found a role with the Liberty, averaging 9.3 points and 3.3 assists per game. Her 63.5% true shooting percentage was the highest recorded by a rookie with at least 200 field-goal attempts.

...
With two undrafted players earning recognition and six different franchises represented, this year's All-Rookie Team highlights the depth of talent entering the league.
For Miles, Fudd, Johnson, Taylor, Rice and Astier, the honor represents an encouraging start to what could become promising WNBA careers.
