Sligo’s Secret Gardens have held their final gathering of the year and are celebrating after raising over €100,000 for charity.
Established in 2010, Secret Gardens is run by a group of volunteers some of whom open their gardens to the public for charity on selected dates during the summer months.
To date the group has raised €113,000 for various charities. The group say new gardens are always welcome and anyone interested in joining are asked to look at their website secretgardensofsligo.com and contact any of the garden owners on the list.
