UltraTech Cement on Monday announced changes to its board, with Managing Director Kailash Chandra Jhanwar set to take over as non-executive vice chairman from January 1, 2027, following the completion of his term on December 31. UltraTech performed well despite headwinds on account of a monsoon-affected quarter and the ongoing west Asia crisis, the company said in its filing. It noted that domestic grey cement sales volumes rose nearly 14% to 35.94 million tonnes, from 31.58 million tonnes in Q2 FY26, supported by disciplined execution, a wider market footprint, cost optimisation and a sharper focus on premium products.
