CHEROKEE, KS — The Southeast Lancers welcomed Yates Center to their home turf, and despite putting up 30 of their own points, fell to the visitors, 80-30.
From the jump, the Wildcats asserted their offense with quarterback Gavin Busteed at the helm, accounting for many of the team's touchdowns.
The Lancers' quarterback Benson Scott was able to keep his team within striking distance their second drive on the field, but despite a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, Southeast's offense was largely stifled.
Yates Center would score three unanswered touchdowns from there, and end the first quarter up 24-6.
Southeast ends the regular season with a record of 4-3.
