Absa Bank Mozambique has been named Best Corporate Bank in Mozambique and Best Private Bank in Mozambique at the Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026, presented by the international publication Global Banking & Finance Review. This double distinction recognises the strength of the Bank’s performance in two areas that are crucial to the country’s economic development: supporting business growth and providing specialised wealth management.
In Corporate Banking, this is the second consecutive distinction awarded to Absa – a particularly significant recognition at a time when Mozambican companies are seeking solutions increasingly tailored to their financing, investment and business expansion needs.
