The singer received the Artista de los Fans (Fan Favorite Artist) award, Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Female, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female, and Latin Pop Song of the Year for “Coleccionando heridas,” her collaboration with Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solís. Karol G stands out with four awards and strong fan support at the Billboard Latin Music Awards
One of the Colombian singer’s most significant honors was the Artista de los Fans award, a new category in the history of the Billboard Latin Music Awards that allowed audiences to choose the winner through public voting. Karol G prevailed over four other finalists: Peso Pluma, Tito Double P, Fuerza Regida, and Prince Royce.
The award highlighted the singer’s connection with her fans, whose participation played a decisive role in the outcome. Unlike awards based on chart performance, this honor was determined by direct audience involvement.
Karol G’s other awards recognized her performance across two of Billboard’s main measures of popularity: songs and albums. The Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Female, and Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female, awards acknowledged her success in both areas, while “Coleccionando heridas,” performed with Marco Antonio Solís, won Latin Pop Song of the Year.
The artist arrived at the ceremony with nine nominations, making her one of the most-nominated women at this year’s event. She ultimately won four awards, matching the totals of Peso Pluma and Romeo Santos.
Rosalia receives the Billboard Hall of Fame Award
Another major highlight of the night was Spanish singer Rosalia, who received the Billboard Hall of Fame Award. The distinction honors artists whose careers, innovation, and influence have transcended genres, languages, and borders within the music industry.
Juan Luis Guerra presented the award in one of the ceremony’s standout moments. During her acceptance speech, Rosalia acknowledged the influence of artists who paved the way before her, mentioning figures such as Celia Cruz, Rocio Durcal, Vicente Fernandez, Daddy Yankee, and Juan Luis Guerra. She also thanked Latin America for the years of inspiration and learning that have contributed to her artistic development.
In addition to the honorary recognition, Rosalia won two competitive awards: Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Soloist, and Top Latin Pop Album of the Year for LUX. She ended the night with three awards in total, recognizing both her recorded work and her influence on Latin music.
Fuerza Regida leads the list of winners
In the overall results of the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, Fuerza Regida topped the list with eight awards, followed by Bad Bunny, who earned seven. Karol G, Peso Pluma, and Romeo Santos each won four, while Rosalia, Prince Royce, and Tito Double P took home three awards apiece.
Fuerza Regida stood out in particular with “Marlboro Rojo,” which won four awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year, Streaming Song of the Year, Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, and Regional Mexican Song of the Year. The group also received recognition in artist categories and earned the Billboard Vanguardia Award for its innovation and creative vision.
The ceremony, broadcast on Telemundo and Peacock, was hosted by Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza. In addition to recognizing commercial success and artists’ popularity, the event presented special honors to established figures in Latin music. Cristian Castro received the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award, while Rubén Blades was honored with the Billboard Icon Award.
