Big band favourites will fill Torrevieja’s Centro Cultural Virgen del Carmen on Tuesday, November 10, when Posh Affaire Big Band takes to the stage for a free concert. The evening will feature music associated with some of the biggest names of the past century, while donations from the audience will support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Big band classics take centre stage
The show starts at 7:30 PM and promises an evening of classic big band and popular music, with the programme featuring Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and memories of the 1960s, alongside music associated with Elton John and Queen.
Posh Affaire Big Band brings together a full ensemble of brass, saxophones and rhythm section for its Torrevieja performance.
The varied programme will give audiences the chance to hear big band favourites alongside popular songs from different eras during an evening of live music at the cultural centre.

Donations support Royal British Legion appeal
While there is no admission charge, donations will be welcomed on the night, with all money received going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The annual Poppy Appeal raises funds to support serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families, making the Torrevieja concert an opportunity to enjoy live music while contributing to the Legion’s work.
With free admission and a programme ranging from Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra to Elton John and Queen, the evening combines live entertainment with fundraising for a familiar cause within the Costa Blanca community.
