PETALING JAYA: Following its achievement of 90% 5G Coverage of Populated Areas (CoPA) nationwide more than nine months ahead of schedule, U Mobile, Malaysia’s 5G network provider, is bringing the celebration to East Coast communities through Jelajah ULTRA5G: Edisi Pantai Timur.
Running from today until Nov 7, the roadshow will make its way across Kuantan, Kota Bharu and Kuala Terengganu, featuring community engagement activities, interactive ULTRA5G experiences and special performances as U Mobile celebrates this milestone with Malaysians while showcasing the capabilities of its award-winning ULTRA5G network.
ULTRA5G now has Malaysia’s widest 5G coverage of populated areas.
Earlier this year, Ookla recognised U Mobile as Malaysia’s Fastest 5G Network and Best Mobile Network. Together, these milestones reinforce the telco’s confidence in ULTRA5G as Malaysia’s No. 1 5G network.
Through Jelajah ULTRA5G, East Coast communities can learn more about the network, explore U Mobile’s services and experience ULTRA5G first-hand. Visitors can explore interactive digital experiences, engage with a 5G-enabled humanoid robot, take part in AI-powered activations, see product demonstrations, and learn about U Mobile’s range of products and services.
The programme will also feature appearances and special performances by popular Malaysian artistes Sharul Kamal and Tomok, along with radio DJs and buskers, bringing together technology, entertainment and community at locations across the region.
Jelajah ULTRA5G will also spotlight U Mobile’s FREE 7-day ULTRA5G eSIM Trial, giving Malaysians a chance to experience the network with 10GB of 5G data. Visitors can find out more about the trial during the roadshow and take the ULTRA5G experience beyond the event.
