Andie MacDowell, 68, looks just like daughter Margaret Qualley, 32, in rare photo

Andie MacDowell has delighted fans with a rare photo of her lookalike daughter Margaret Qualley to celebrate her 32nd birthday – and the family resemblance is impossible to miss.

The Four Weddings and a Funeral actress, 68, took to social media to mark her youngest child's special day on October 23, 2026, sharing a beautiful mother-daughter snap alongside a loving tribute.

In the photograph, Andie wraps her arms around Margaret from behind as the pair smile for the camera, revealing their strikingly similar features.

The Hollywood star looks elegant in a black striped midi dress, while Margaret wears a coordinating navy ensemble. Both have their hair swept back loosely, with Andie's signature silver locks adding a glamorous touch.

"Happy birthday to my baby girl Sarah Margaret," she wrote. "I could not be prouder," she continued, before affectionately signing off: "Happy birthday cricket."

The striking photograph highlights just how much Margaret takes after her famous mother, from their delicate features to their matching smiles.

She also shared a sweet throwback photo of her daughter when she was very young, writing: "Time flies… this is my baby sweet Sarah Margaret with me when I was working in Prague.

And the love I feel for my children grows every day deeper and deeper, you think you can’t love them anymore and then you do, you love them more and more and more."

Andie shares Margaret and her two older children, Justin, 40, and Rainey, 37, with her former husband, model Paul Qualley, whom she divorced in 1999.

Margaret has followed in her mother's footsteps, carving out a successful Hollywood career with roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Substance and the acclaimed Netflix miniseries Maid.

The latter was particularly special for the mother-daughter duo, who played an on-screen mother and daughter in the 2021 drama.

Margaret later revealed that she had suggested her mother for the role, describing the experience of working alongside her childhood idol as a dream come true.

"I got to work with somebody that I've grown up admiring since the fricking get-go – my very first idol," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Andie, meanwhile, has spoken proudly about her children's achievements and the close bond they share, with Margaret's birthday tribute offering another rare glimpse into their family life.
