Georgia football was dealt its first loss of the season Saturday, but got a recruiting win on Sunday when an in-state 2027 prospect committed to the Bulldogs.
3-star safety Braylon Miller from Newton High in Covington posted on Instagram that he’s flipped from Liberty to Georgia.
The news came a day after the then-No. 1 Bulldogs’ 27-24 loss to Auburn.
The 5-foot-10, 192-pound Miller is rated as the nation’s No. 104 safety and No. 992 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite.
Miller becomes the 23rd player in Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class and third safety.
Georgia also has safety pledges from four-star Seth Williams from Lakeside and four-star Adryan Cole from Douglas County.
Miller had committed to Liberty on May 31.
He flipped to Georgia during his official visit during the Auburn game, he told Dawgs247.
"They've been comparing me to Javon Bullard,” he told the website. “Similar game and journey to him, and I see it. We are similar size, but he was a dog. I want to go there and do the same things he did.”
