Day by day, we’re getting closer and closer to a Kendall Jenner-Jacob Elordi red-carpet debut. The stars, who first sparked relationship rumors last spring after a Coachella smooch, have since taken their romance all around the world—taking trips to Hawaii, Japan, and Australia, and going on double dates with Jenner’s sister Kylie and Timothée Chalamet, as well as Justin and Hailey Bieber. In August, the 818 Tequila founder even flew to London to support Elordi at the United Kingdom premiere of his film, The Dog Stars, and although she didn’t join him on the red carpet, we did get some rare photos of the two attending an after party. Now, at the 2026 Academy Museum Gala, they’ve taken things one baby-step further.

After posing for solo pics, the couple met up inside the event for dinner. In a photo snapped from their table, they can be seen cozying up, leaning into one another and holding hands. They also offered up a first look at their (matching) red-carpet couple style. (Coincidence or not, they coordinated their looks for their evening, both wearing black-and-white ensembles.)

For Jenner, the evening called for something dramatic, elegant, and playful all at once. She wore a custom polka-dot Valentino gown, with a strapless white-dotted black bodice and floor-sweeping black-dotted ivory skirt. The silk skirt was draped with a high leg slit, lined in black, and finished with bow details at the hips. To keep things fun, the model added polka-dot heels, too.
