The France international was booked for a cynical pull of the shirt and then immediately earned himself a second yellow card for throwing the ball in the face of a Viking player.
"It was our own fault," Vincent Kompany said of the dismissal. "This red card was super dumb... you can see in [Olise's] eyes that he's sorry about it and that he regrets letting the team down.”
As a result of Olise’s red card, he must serve a one-game ban and will therefore not be available for Bayern against Arsenal.

However, captain Manuel Neuer is expected to be fit after taking part in Tuesday afternoon’s training session.
Neuer did not play in the 6-1 thrashing of RB Leipzig at the weekend because of an ongoing foot problem but he is expected to be back in goal for the visit of Arsenal.
Jamal Musiala, though, has not featured since withdrawing from international duty with after sustaining a torn muscle fiber in his right thigh while warming up for Germany's Nations League clash against the Netherlands last month.
The attacking midfielder was not spotted in training on Tuesday and is therefore set to be unavailable for selection against the Gunners.
