The Indianapolis Colts’ season is quickly slipping away, if it hasn’t already. Losing to the Titans at home might be rock bottom. Unfortunately, things get worse starting next Sunday when the Colts travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. The 5-0 Vikings…FanDuel Sportsbook agrees that this one will be tough with a +5.5-point spread facing the Colts.
The money line begins at +210 while the over/under is 42.5.
What a disaster. The Colts let the Titans hang around in the first half and then gave them the game in the second. A fumble on the first play of the third quarter by Jonathan Taylor, paired with another Daniel Jones interception, and a blocked punt for a touchdown to top it all off were too much to overcome. The Colts tied the game late in the fourth but allowed the Tennessee Titans to take and keep the lead.
Meanwhile, their opponent is perfect on the year. They may not be a perfect team, but their record remains unblemished after taming the Saints on the road. Only seven points were surrendered by the defense as a fumble return for a touchdown was the only thing making the box score look remotely close. Kyler Murray is getting comfortable, and this defense is insane under Brian Flores. They will be ready to bring the heat on Sunday.
The Colts are falling fast. Meeting the Vikings in Minnesota isn’t the way to get out of this mess. The Colts struggled to contain the Titans’ defense. What are their chances against Minnesota? This could be a tough one to watch.
