Scotland took a 2–0 lead from the first leg against the Czech Republic. The second leg was tougher, with the Czechs taking the lead twice and making for a tense match.
But the Scots responded, and goals from Lauren Davidson, Kathleen McGovern and Christy Grimshaw gave them a 3–2 win in the match and a 5–2 aggregate victory.
This means Scotland will be Sweden’s final obstacle on the road to this summer’s World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup spot will be decided over two legs on December 1 and 5, with Sweden playing the second leg at home at 3Arena.
"We know it will be a completely different opposition in the next round. There are many things we can take away from these matches, but also some things we need to improve on," Sweden midfielder Hanna Lundkvist told SVT.
