Voter turnout in Serbia's snap parliamentary elections reached 56.4 percent by 4 PM on Sunday, according to the CRTA Election Observation Mission, with a margin of error of ±0.9 percentage points. This represents a significant increase compared to the 2023 elections, when turnout at the same time stood at 42.1 percent.

Alongside the high turnout, CRTA reported numerous electoral irregularities and an increasing number of violent incidents outside polling stations.
The organization had previously reported intimidation of one of its observers in Zemun, while in Kragujevac, an unknown individual falsely introduced themselves to a CRTA observer as a member of the organization's legal team.
Irregularities recorded at polling stations
According to CRTA, observers recorded irregularities involving pressure on voters, polling board members and observers at 29 percent of polling stations.
Procedural failures were reported at 18 percent of polling stations, while irregularities affecting the integrity of voting were recorded at 17 percent.
Among the most prominent violations were photographing ballots, recorded at 40 percent of polling stations, failure to use UV lamps as required at 21 percent, and voting without valid identification documents at six percent.
CRTA warned that even less serious irregularities could have significant consequences in an election where a very close result is expected.
The observation mission called on all political actors and citizens to help reduce tensions and refrain from all forms of violence.
CRTA's next press conference is scheduled for 8:15 PM and will be broadcast live on its YouTube, Facebook and Instagram channels.
