Sunshine returns to Portimão after Sunday's storm

We visited Praia do Amado in Portimão around 5pm, and what a difference a day makes. After yesterday’s weather, it was lovely to see the sunshine again and enjoy another beautiful October afternoon by the sea.

Temperatures were expected to reach around 23°C today, although IPMA had also issued a yellow warning for possible thunderstorms in the Faro district during the afternoon.

The good news is that the weather forecast for the rest of the week looks promising. We can expect plenty of sunshine in the Algarve, with daytime temperatures generally between 22°C and 24°C.

It might not be as hot as it was earlier in October, and mornings and evenings are getting cooler, but we can still enjoy some lovely sunny days by the coast.
