.@avucic seems increasingly desperate to avoid Orbán’s fate. We will continue to closely monitor the electoral process in #Serbia. In a European democracy, elections must be decided by citizens, not manipulated by those in power. https://t.co/egmiU9hjna

In a post on X, the EDP recalled a statement by Ognjen Rasuo of the commission reviewing the voter register who cited the number of newly issued ID cards, and raised questions about the reasons for the increase.
The EDP said it would closely monitor the electoral process in Serbia and demand an explanation from the Serbian authorities, as well as full transparency.
“Elections must be decided by citizens, not manipulated by those in power,” the party said in the post, accusing Vucic of appearing increasingly concerned that he could suffer the same fate as Hungary's Viktor Orban.
