SonicWall has announced the opening of its new Pune office, advancing its long-term investment and expansion strategy in India. The facility will strengthen the company’s engineering and development operations, broaden access to India’s technical talent and support product innovation for customers worldwide.
India’s deep talent pool, expanding digital economy and evolving cybersecurity needs make it a key hub for SonicWall’s research, engineering and next-generation technology initiatives.
The Pune office will support the already well-established Bangalore R&D centre to accelerate SonicWall’s global product roadmap by connecting local expertise with teams developing advanced cybersecurity solutions.
Rajnish Mishra, Chief Development Officer, SonicWall, said, “India is central to SonicWall’s growth and innovation strategy. The expanded team will focus on security challenges arising from artificial intelligence, cloud adoption and increasingly distributed digital environments.
SonicWall will foster collaboration and continuous learning to develop specialised expertise and turn ideas originating in India into products and capabilities for global markets.
Anurag Kahol, EVP and GM, India Operations, SonicWall, said, “SMBs are a core part of SonicWall’s customer base, and Pune’s thriving technology and industrial ecosystem makes the region especially important.
