The starting line-ups have been confirmed as Frosinone and Sassuolo kick off the seventh round of 2026-27 Serie A fixtures at the Stadio Benito Stirpe at 19.45 BST on Friday evening.
Frosinone got their 2026-27 season off to a flyer: Massimiliano Alvini being named Serie A coach of the month for the period spanning August and September following victories over Fiorentina, Venezia and Como at the start of their first campaign back in the top flight. They were beaten 3-0 by Napoli on their first match back from the international break, though.
Sassuolo held Milan to a 1-1 draw at home last time out in Serie A, capping off a mixed bag of results over the last few weeks, which have also included a 2-1 defeat against Monza, a 3-2 victory over Juventus and a 2-2 draw against Sassuolo.
These two sides have already met once this season: In the Coppa Italia round of 32 at the beginning of September, which Sassuolo won on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Alvini has made just one change to his starting line-up despite defeat against Napoli last weekend, replacing centre-back Gabriele Calvani with Ilario Monterisi.
Alberto Aquilani has made two alterations to his side following last weekend’s draw against Milan, bringing Kristian Thorstvedt back into the midfield in place of Vasilije Adzic, whilst Cas Odentahl, who scored off the bench against the Rossoneri, replaces the injured Fedde Leysen at centre-back.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.
