At the press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Oslo, it was said that US envoy Steve Witkoff would travel on to Russia on Wednesday to discuss American and European peace proposals with Russian representatives.
"If they propose something that benefits us economically, then why not? But without any political concessions. We should also not expect it to lead to a favorable situation in foreign affairs. We must rely on ourselves," Lavrov says.
Russia should not expect “a miracle,” he says.
We must remember that the United States is at best a rival and an enemy. They are not prepared for a fair match.
